Back from the Portable Media Expo
The Portable Media Expo and Podcasting Conference was pretty cool. I saw a lot of old friends and made many new ones, too.
Funny thing ... many of the people there had been guests on Inside Mac, but I had never met them IRL. It was nice to put the faces to the names and the voices.
As I said on last Saturday's episode of IMR, the title of this conference could have been, "We don't know the answers yet." The panelists discussed many of the questions surrounding podcasting, but I don't think there were many clear solutions. But maybe that's one of the reasons this is such an exciting time.
Thanks to all of those who came up and introduced themselves. I am really enjoying getting to know the podcasting community and I appreciate all the positive feedback.
Here's a picture from Thursday night at Benihana.

From left to right: Michael Geoghegan from Reel Reviews (my new hero!), August Trometer from iPodderX, Ken Ray, and little old me.
Digital Bill, Mister Marc, Sam Levin, Michael Butler, Dave Slusher, and some other folks were there too, but they didn't make it to the other side of the hot teppan grill in time for the photo.
So long, thanks for all the fish, and don't forget to wear your Nomex socks.
